Cincinnati Kings to begin play
in November, 2010
Fast-paced professional indoor soccer in Cincinnati
gets a new name and a new home
The 1790 Express will change its name to the Cincinnati Kings Indoor Team and will play their home games at the Cincinnati Gardens from November through March beginning this season. Soccer fans will be familiar with many of the players including Craig Salvati and 2009 Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) MVP Jeff Hughes who will return to play indoor soccer this fall.
"This partnership will give the Kings a year-round presence with the soccer community and fans in the area," said Kings Indoor General Manager, Steve Wood. "With our move to the Cincinnati Gardens, we have a professional home that will allow us to grow into the future."
